In the case of alcohol the mind and our decision-making is certainly badly affected - distorting good judgment. It is amazing how normally sensible people do unwise things when affected by alcohol. It seems to affect both our judgment about what is good for us and what might have an impact on others. Wisdom seems to go out the window.Trevor Cairneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10743409298855125040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160916.post-89050645787366004772008-03-27T17:36:00.000+11:002008-03-27T17:36:00.000+11:00Indeed it is. I do hope that education of the young can help, but I fear also for the recklessness present. I also find it hard once the alcohol removes the personal responsibility "brain" and foolishness intervenes. I am reminded of the words of warning about alcohol in the Bible, that drunkeness indeed does lead to debauchery and about the regret many face after a night with too much drinking.Georginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08114078443886123244noreply@blogger.com
